Paint Calculator
Estimate wall paint quantity using your measured paintable area and the coverage of the selected product.
How this calculator works
Paint Litres = Area × Number of Coats / Coverage.
The selected extra allowance is then added. Product coverage can vary with surface roughness, porosity, colour, dilution and application method.
Example
For 1,000 sq ft of paintable wall area, 2 coats and 130 sq ft/litre/coat coverage, the base requirement is about 15.38 litres before extra allowance.
Source and assumption note
Paint coverage varies by product, surface and application. Asian Paints currently notes that many interior wall paints cover roughly 120-150 sq ft per litre per coat, while specific products may differ. Use the coverage printed on the selected product for a better estimate.
