GST Calculator
Calculate GST for an amount that is either before GST or already inclusive of GST.
How this calculator works
Exclusive mode: GST = Base Amount × Rate / 100.
Inclusive mode: GST = Inclusive Amount × Rate / (100 + Rate).
Following the 56th GST Council rate rationalisation, 5% and 18% are the broad merit and standard rates, with a 40% special de-merit rate for select supplies. Exempt, nil-rated and other notified or transitional rates can still apply, so use Custom when required and verify the current classification.
Example
For a ₹1,000 base amount at 18% GST, GST is ₹180 and the total is ₹1,180.
Source and update note
